Fresh Faced Make-Up For Summer
Hi Guys
So as some of you may know I uploaded my first youtube video a few weeks ago (link is here). In this video I mentioned that I had just filmed a make up look but unfortunately the footage got deleted, so for all you people that wanted to see this I thought I would make a blog post about it :).
In the UK the sun has finally made an appearance (which is rare lol), to mark this occasion I decided I wanted more of a natural look. Here is how I achieved my English summer rose look.
Products used:
- Estee Lauder double wear in 'Desert beige'
- MAC Highlighter Pen in 'Radiant Rose'
- Urban Decay basics palette
- Benefit blush in 'Bella Bambi'
- Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme mascara
- MAC lipstick in 'Odyssey'
Brushes used:
- Real Techniques Buffing Brush (Foundation)
- Sigma E40 Brush (Eyeshadow Crease Blending)
- Sigma E35 Brush (Eyeshadow Blending)
- MAC 129 Brush (Blusher)
Step by Step Makeup Routine
Step 1-Apply Estee Lauder foundation with the Real Techniques Buffing Brush.
Step 2-Under the eyes apply MAC highlighter and gently pat it in to blend.
Step 3-Take the Urban Decay palette and use Foxy as the base colour, then apply Naked 2 into the crease with the Sigma E40 brush, when the right amount of colour is applied to the crease use a clean Sigma E35 brush to blend everything together.
Step 4-With the MAC 129 brush smooth a small amount of Benefits 'Bella Bambi' blush over the cheek bones. (This gives the cheeks a healthy glow)
Step 5-Comb through the lashes with Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme mascara.
Step 6-To finish of the look apply MAC's 'Odyssey' to the lips.
In just 6 easy steps you can get the summer glowing skin you've always wanted.
Here is my finished result :

Neal&Wolf Elevate Volumising Lotion- Review
A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be sent a product by Neal&Wolf which was their Elevate Volumising Lotion. After never hearing or trying any of their products before I was intrigued and excited to try a product that appealed to me.
So Neal&Wolf was created by Neil Capstick who has worked in the hair industry for over 20 years. Lots of time, testing and experience have gone into creating their products to give the consumer the best possible professional hair care products packaged with a touch of glamour at an affordable price.
About the product
The Volumising lotion retails at £11.95 for 200ml, which is a BARGAIN as you only need a small amount to make a BIG impact. You can purchase this from the Neal&Wolf website which is linked here.
So the first thing that caught my eye was the FAB packaging which shouts out with luxury and glamour.Opening the bottle only establishes this statement further with its gorgeous perfume. The product description on the bottle promises to create luxuriously thick hair, designed to leave hair stronger, fuller and more controlled. At this point I cannot wait to try this product (and hoping that the packaging is not better than the product).I was in for a TREAT!.Neal&Wolf have spent their time well. This product is AMAZING!!
How did I use the product?
I towel dried my hair then brushed through with my tangle teaser brush to make my fingers glide through my hair a lot easier,I then applied a small amount of the lotion working from the root to the tip of my hair brushing through again to help distribute the product evenly.Separating my hair I dried each section with my Babyliss big hair dryer.Using a large round brush will help get more volume from the root of the hair.
I have never seen such good results from a product,I love big hair and volume, this product does just that without leaving the hair feeling heavy or greasy. I can't wait to try their other products.Neal&Wolf will definitely be at the top of my shopping list of hair products. The experience and knowledge of this company really does make the difference.
Thank you so much Neal&Wolf.

Cheryl Cole Inspired Makeup!!
As we all know Cheryl Cole is beyond beautiful, but when I saw this advertisement for her 3 words album I knew I had to re-create this look. A simple smokey eye with false lashes is the perfect combination to glam up a simple look.
What products are used?
- MAC Studio Fix Fluid NW20
- MAC Bronzer
- Bobbi Brown Blusher in Blushed(10)
- GOSH brow kit (Medium Brown)
And for the eyes I used:
- Urban Decay eyeshadow primer (To prime the eyelids as we will need to build colour up and don't want it fading away)
- Base Eyeshadow-MAC Blanc
- Crease Eyeshadow-MAC Silver Ring
- Corner Eyeshadow-MAC Knight Divine
- NO7 Eyeliner in black
- Lancome Mascara
Once all of the eyeshadows were applied I blended them into each other to create a subtle smokey eye look. To finish off the look I added MAC eyelashes in 31 to just give the lashes a natural but thicker look.
I then added just a natural colour on the lips MAC chic lipstick with MAC Wonderstruck lipgloss over the top to give it a nice shine.
I had great fun recreating this look, I hope you do too.
See you soon

Clean with Clarisonic!!!
Ever felt like your facial wash just is not enough? Ever woken up to cleanse your face and still removing traces of make up? The answer is the Clarisonic!! After 7 months of using it i swear by the amazing gadget, i will now tell you why!
Why the Clarisonic Plus?
So as you may or may not know there are a number of different Clarisonic models. The Clarisonic Mia, Plus and Classic. After months of researching and debating the Plus stood out more to me as you can put the body brush on and exfoliate your body too, which is great for anyone that loves flawless fake tan.
How do i use the Clarisonic and what do i use it with?
As i work for Elemis i didn't want to change my products as i swear by them, Finding out i can still use my Elemis products with the Clarisonic was just an added bonus to getting one. I currently use my Elemis melting cleansing gel with my Clarisonic on the evening followed by balancing lavender toner and Elemis maximum replenish night cream. Using my Clarisonic on the evening has helped with the absorption of my moisturiser and appearance of redness in the morning.
Worth the money?
When i was first purchasing the Clarisonic i debated it due to the price because lets face it.. £175 is a lot of money. I can honestly say this little gadget was worth every penny. Once you've used the Clarisonic.. you will never look back.
I hope you enjoyed the review, stop the debating, take the plunge i promise you wont be disappointed.
